It was always easy to communicate and I got replies to messages in a timely manner. I decided to have one of their recommended landscape designers design my yard because I knew it would be best for me over all and it was done so well. I feel like it made the project much easier all around. The concrete install, paver install, and vinyl fence install were all done extremely well. During the project I made some changes and added several items along the way and they were all professionally taken care of. I especially loved how everything involved in the project could be followed in an online customer portal that included the signed contract. It was easy to keep track of where my money was going and what amount was left as well as make payments electronically. I was always notified when pricing was going to be different than on the original agreement, usually from changes that I requested. I really appreciated the fact that as much work as possible was completed before winter set in, with the most important part to me being the grass so that I didn't have my dog tracking mud in the house all winter long. We did a Localscapes conversion through Utah Water Savers and the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District. We did a Localscapes conversion through Utah Water Savers and the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District. Ryan took our Localscapes design and brought it to life. He and his crew were great to work with, did great work, were responsive, and completed the whole project in only a few weeks. Our project consisted of removing 5,000+ sq. ft. of existing grass and also shrubs, concrete edging, and gravel. Ryan and his team then regraded certain areas of the yard; poured a concrete driveway extension, shed pad, and pergola pad; installed a paver path from one side of the house, around the backyard, and back up the other side of the house and into the front yard; redid irrigation to convert most of the zones to point-source drip and modify the layout for the remaining turf grass zones; planted new trees, shrubs, grasses, and perennials that Ryan helped us pick and lay out within the design; brought in playground bark and mulch; laid flagstone connecting paths and new sod; constructed a pergola; and built four new cedar garden boxes with in-line drip irrigation. We anticipated the project taking months but Ryan and his crew were quick and it was all completed within a few weeks. Ryan was easy to communicate with and delivered great results. Pitt assisted us with suggestions and finalizing the plans. He worked with us getting the design applications through the HOA, City, County etc. We ran into various issues along the way which he helped us work around. Overall communication was pretty good - there were times that we felt it could've been a little more communicative, but communication was pretty good vs others in the industry. He was pretty flexible with adjustments we had to make - some our fault and some there's, but the resolutions were fair - realizing that there are always items that arise during a project like this that aren't always foreseeable. The work crews showed up every day, and Danny who was the supervisor on sight was very good - my wife communicated with him daily - he had a great attitude as was pleasant to deal with and provided valuable information during the process. The project was pretty much on schedule once it got started and completed pretty much on time and was reasonable for the work involved, the obstacles that popped up, etc. We are very satisfied with the final product which included: approximately 20x30ft paver patio; 10x10 hot tub pad; 15x20 fire pit pad; 8x4ft built-in paver fire pit; xeriscape landcaping with 84 different plant, 2 aspen trees and a colorado blue spuce. 2 gravel dog runs on each side of the house; landcape lighting, drip irrigation system. The patio cover we had was made and installed by Notched - the salesman from Notched actually referred Ryan Pitt to us, and we are glad he did. Overall we are satisfied with project and the process - we are planning to add a built-in grill and island next spring and will have Pitt bid on it. We've received numerous positive comments from neighbors and also the builder of our home, on how nice our yard looks. I would recommend having Pitt Landscape bid on your project.
